For more than six decades, Pasco High School Cross Country has represented the Bulldogs with toughness, endurance, and pride. From the streets and trails of Pasco to courses across Washington, generations of runners have worn the purple and white, building a tradition founded on discipline, perseverance, accountability, and relentless effort.

Pasco’s connection to cross country runs especially deep. Legendary Pasco educator and coach John Crawford helped organize the school’s first cross country team and went on to become one of Washington’s most influential figures in the sport. A Washington State Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame inductee, Crawford was instrumental in bringing the WIAA State Cross Country Championships to Pasco, where the meet has become a defining part of the community’s running tradition.

Today, Bulldog Cross Country carries that legacy forward. We develop more than runners—we develop young people who understand that success is earned one mile, one workout, and one decision at a time. There are no shortcuts. There is no substitute for the work.
