RE: Team Captains’ Leadership Team
I’m excited to share that we are bringing back a long-standing Pasco High School tradition: the Team Captains’ Leadership Team Meetings! This initiative has always been an important part of the PHS athletic experience, and we’re ready to re-launch it with even more purpose and energy.

The goal of these meetings is simple but powerful:

• Build leadership skills in our captains—advocacy, engagement, communication, positive modeling, and more
• Strengthen the bridge between our athletes and the athletic department
• Empower student leaders to make decisions together, including selecting our Athlete of the Month

As a reminder, Pasco High has a proud history of recognizing an Athlete of the Month—students who demonstrate outstanding athletic performance, strong sportsmanship, academic achievement, and exceptional character on and off the field. We’re excited to elevate this tradition by involving our captains directly in the selection process.
